The Sacred Responsibility of Baptism in the Holy Spirit – For both those who are wondering what it means to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and those who’ve lived it for decades, this talk by Dr. Mary Healy gives perspective to the times in which we live and the urgency of our call to live in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Charisms of the Holy Spirit – Dr. Mary Healy spoke about the charismatic gifts to CTK’s RCIA class.  She explained the purpose of the charisms and what each of the gifts is.

Listening to the Lord – Jeane Larson, a spiritual director and an Upper Room prayer minister, gave insights into how to listen to the Lord and shared stories of how He works through our attentiveness to Him. An introduction and closing comments were given by UR Director Christy Whiting.

The Gift of Prophecy in Salvation History and Today – Long-time CTK parishioner Ken Cousino spoke at Praise & Worship about the gift of prophecy through Salvation History and today.

Eucharist 101 – Want to know more about why we worship the Blessed Sacrament on First Fridays? Upper Room Director Christy Whiting explains Who the Eucharist is and why we praise Him. She provides Scriptural background and stories of scientifically proven Eucharistic Miracles.

The Importance of Daily Scripture Reading – Dr. Peter Williamson discussed many reasons why reading reading Scripture daily is essential to spiritual growth. He also spoke on how to hear the Lord through Scripture.

Feeding on the Words of God: How to be Nourished by Reading Scripture – Dr. Peter Williamson gave many tips on to be nourished by Scripture in this follow-up to his talk on the importance of reading Scripture daily. He was introduced by Dr. Mary Healy, who led a powerful time of prayer to open our hearts to all that the Lord wants to give us through his Word. The Power of Unified Worship – Dr. Mary Healy spoke about the Biblical call to corporate worship and the unique graces of worshiping together. Her talk was followed by an extended time of praise before the Blessed Sacrament. Because of the nature of this topic, we’ve included the whole evening of Praise & Worship in this recording so you can worship along. Baptism in the Holy Spirit in the Present Day – CTK parishioner Dave Mangan was one of the first Catholics to experience baptism in the Spirit when the present Charismatic Renewal started in 1967.  Here’s his story about the beginning of the Renewal.

Evangelization and Eggnog – Pete Burak shared do-able ways we can effectively witness Christ’s love to our family and friends over the holidays. Pete is the director of i.d. 916, the young adult outreach of Renewal Ministries.
